Desmarais-Nadon

Eusebe Desmarais born (1839-1932) married Adele Galipeau (ca 1846-1880) and had daughter Adele Desmarais (1862-1952).   Adele Demarais married Napoleon Joseph Nadon (1862-?).  Joseph was an inventor, prospector and RR man who lived in Minnesota and Keewatin.   He is the son of Joseph Nadon and Melina Marengere.  He left the family and disappeared.  I would like to know when he died and where he is buried.  The story in the family is that he married again and had a child.  Since he was Catholic,…See More

Pat;

I am researching my family who also came from Pointe Gatineau, Hull in the 1880's we also settled in Keewatin, I think at the time most people built and lived as close to the saw mill as they could.  If I come across any information you may be interested in i will post it here for you.
