Comment by Heather McKenzie on January 24, 2013 at 7:14pm ASHAM/ HUCKELL My great grandmother was Edith Davis Asham and she was originally from St Peter's (Winnipeg) in Manitoba. She was Metis - her mother was Elizabeth Bear from Cumberland House in northern Saskatchewan. Edith's husband,Arthur J Huckell, worked for the railway in Rat Portage.
