Gloria will introduce the Family Tree Maker 2012 software. Come to see what new features are available. Yes, we are meeting at Valleyview - not King George. Valleyview has WIFI so FTM can be demonstrated while being connected to the internet.

At last survey, 12 of our ASK members that attend the monthly meetings use Family Tree Maker, one used PAF, another Roots Magic and you use the Master Genealogist. For presentation sake it seems to make the most sense to focus on the program that the majority of the group is using. We did have a presentation on PAF (Personal Ancestral File). If you would like to do a presentation on Master Genealogist I'm sure members would be interested in a) comparing it to what they are currently using or b) checking out what it has to offer because they haven't yet chosen a program to use.

I'm curious... I use a different genealogical software programme, Master Genealogist. Does anyone else use something other than Family Tree Maker? We seem to focus so exclusively on it at the meetings....
